    my 38 chevy tailgate is mucho dented.i was thinking of reworking it a little.either punching louvers in it or drilling a seties of holes in it to let air pass through,reduce drag ,improve gas milage and reduce drag..what have you done thanx

    Holes in the tailgate won't improve gas mileage, a box tonneau cover will.

    box tonneau would help but the tailgate will still look battered.lots of holes will definitely cut down on drag .box tonneau doesn't look traditional to me.
