I didnt receive any taillights with this car when i bought it. I would like to keep the opening just the way it is. At one time it had some kind of red plastic cut to fit the hole and then some bullets bolted on to it. I was thinking of a polished tube with some sort of lense at each end. Any Ideas??

  3. I'd say best choice would be the ol' 58 chrome sourounds with red bullet lenses...like on the japanese show rod posted a day ago...Looks like they would fit.

How 'bout sone red lense material, like off the tailgate of the 80's ford pickups, inset in the back with a light box behind it using 6 sockets and bulbs. Use then sequentially, like the old Merc Cougars and T-birds. That should be in keeping with the 60's show-car theme. I've seen the new solid state sequential controllers for sale in some rod mags lately...I can see the car with gold and bronze paint with Astros and wide whites..........don't get me started!

  13. How about some Edsel (non-boomerang) 1960 Oval tail lights...! [IMG]

    They'd fit right in ...!

A little harder to find but these 48 Buicks would look cool surrounded by the nerf bar loops.

Ya know what would really RULE!!???!!
Them 48 Buick lights, coincidentally just posted by Tommy, swapped side for side and complimented by a tube grille between the spears. But they're too small ya say ?!? SO, surrounded by a Red NEON outline of the whole insert area. MAN that would be Bitchin!!! Red outline alla time and double filiment round stops and single spear turns inside of it! I'd Love It!!! Wish she were mine!
