Anyone else in for Rosita's place before Central?? Missing my chips & salsa!!

 

If Nick is still up for some chips & salsa,,,I will be at Rosita's Place at 5 pm,,,I'm HUNGRY!!

I just cleaned up my whitewalls since the truck does not have a paint job worthy of washing yet. Cleaned the glass. Ready to go. Weather looks like its cooperating today. See everyone there tonight.

 

gonna do some family stuff tonight. but I will be out next weekend to show off my new car!

I'n not goint to make Rosita's tonight guys... Went to lunch with ElPolacko, Hot Rod Ron, and Dr. Marvelous at a BBQ joint and my stomach has been a mess since...Then Judy is insisting on squid soup for dinner - Hell, I might not make central either!!!

 

Out on central now. Its windy as hell. Hope it blows over soon. Heard its coming down in gilbert pretty good

I'm grinning from ear to ear after seeing the end of that video Chip. I'm really happy for ya man. There's nothing quite like getting behind the wheel of an old friend after awhile away from it. So cool man.

 

Had a good time with you guys, like always. Rosita's was the shiz-nittle-bam-snip-snap!!! Hung around talking with the guy in the AMX for almost an hour after you guys left, pretty cool dude. Wait until you guys see his mini-chopper.

Also, GasserSteve gets credit for bein the last one in, he pulled up as we were getting ready to blast out.

PS... Bodi, hurry and get your ass back down here! You're missing out brother.

 

An AMX eh? Damn Ramblers.

I'm working on getting back down there man. Just have to make some quick cash. As soon as I see something that resembles a snowflake, I'll be headed south.

 

so what was the deal with the other cruise?

 

Bodi, the AMX dude is an old school local racer. Had a neat little book of exploits from the 60's he shared with us.

The other cruise was a lowrider thing, they were raising money for school uniforms and supplies and such for families I guess. Mostly circus wagons, but a few worth checking out.

 

Cool, I actually know a few of the AMC guys in that area. There's a couple of long time racers with some real legit SC/Ramblers, and AMXs with some good history.

Sounds like a good time. Can't wait to get back. Hoping to find a bit better job, and a house with a garage down there this year. I would like to bring some real tools, and be able to work on stuff "at home" once I'm there.

 

Hey Bodi, Naw, I've got to clarify that video is about 5 or 6 years old. It was shot by a buddy Lars "flatred53" On one of his trips over to the states. I'll tellya the whole story the next time we talk! There is more there than meets the eye... The Plym is on the mend though, and will soon be doing stuff just as goofy as that back out in it's natural habitit, the street!

 

I see, I'll call you soon, and you can fill me in on what's going on. I've got plenty of time when I'm blasting along at 3mph at work. Glad to hear you guys are building up cruise night. Should be going strong by the time I get back.

I was parked with the circus wagons since i went down there with some friends that take part in the circus. Was hoping for less rain and more cruising. Just gives me reason to come out next saturday.

 

Everyone survive last saturday???? Weekend is coming up fast!!! Weather looks like it will be hot & clear for the next one!! Anyone coming out???

 

Yes I wouldn't miss it look forward to Saturday nights, hopefully we can get more people to come down.

 

P.S. the pictures are cool we will have to take more and post them, that way people will know we are having fun up there and join us. Rock and Roll and Central forever.
