Buy those zip lock bags with the white labels, that way you can write on it with a sharpie. Then you can put them all some where you can't find them like I do. Nice looking project.
Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and I will follow with great interest. Looks like a straight and solid old truck.
Just have to take out the seat and unbolt the box and cab (still trying to figure out the best way to do that)
We still have snow on the ground and it has been around freezing so I have been working on my induction...
What do you mean you still have snow on the ground? We're in the Soo, and there's just the odd little pile. But, there's a whole bunch of pot-craters in the road to replace the snow! Looking good on the pickup, too.
don't think I have seen a truck that rust free that far north... what a great start... i'll be tuned in.
Great looking project. Looks like you have the luxury of having a large enough workspace to be able to neatly lay out all the parts nearby.
Yah, I'm really quite proud of my shop - I built a lot of it myself. It is 38' x 60' and took two summers to get set up...
Man, your shop has me beat by a foot and a half width! But I got ya beat on height. Big door on East end is 16x16 opening and trusses are 18ft above the floor. Four 10x10 doors on the side. Second floor on South and West sides are at 11.5 ft x 10 ft wide. It has a 40ft boat in the middle of it and up to 7 cars and a few motorcycles. I like the way your roof and siding looks better than mine though. Mine is a pole building with all metal roof and siding. Your truck looks like a really solid rig. I love the flathead. Dave
i took one apart in 1968 and got it back together by the fall of 72.your truck looks like it was apart and back together before you got it.you have a great start.
All unbolted now... Got it positioned under my handy dandy "big body parts lifter"... Yup! there is definitely some 80 year old metal (and wood) here...
Gettin down to the bones... Actually the front "bones" and the frame is all the chassis parts I will be using... gonna be some old truck parts available
