    close this thread - optima should have the idea. how many more posts do we need that says the optima products suck?

    lets get back to hot rods. this is nuts
     
  2. I bought my new Blue top Optima battery from Cosco here in Tempe on 9/16/09 and today 10/25/09 I will be taking this battery back to Cosco for a replacement. Hopefully I will not have to go back again. I do not know how long those battery are sitting on their shelves and is anyone at the store check them to make sure they do not go bad.

    I don't agree, let the thread run, as the longer it stays near the top, the more HAMBers see it and read it and then avoid the mistake of buying an Optima.
    I for one was seriously considering trying one, figured that if it went bad, I could get another @ Summit, who has a store approx. 20 miles from me. But now I read that many places are refusing to honor warranty and telling folks to send it to back to Optima direct. Fuck that!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of threads more ridiculous than this are still open. I could list several, but what the Hell, if Ryan figures they should run, who are we to argue!
    So let it run, please!
