Pretty sure it did Capone in too Mike, well that and the IRS...damn, I got to go do my taxes come to think of it. I wished tetracycline worked for that irritation.

Timmy, here's a pic of son of trigger, or as I like to refer to her, the 1-800 special,

steel car with a ecoat to keep it from rusting in the damp PNW. Maybe some shiny paint by summer.

Had another thought - cut the top of the vent line at a 45 degree angle and run it up from the bottom until it touches the top of the upper tank. Less fiddly measuring to do that way.

One of the great things about a hot rod engine is how truly efficient they are at steady cruising speeds. Yes, they get really thirsty when the tempo of the long pedal dance is faster, but for cruising I'd expect way better than 10 MPG. Speed 33, yes? We're building one that's way too O/T for here but I couldn't imagine sitting in it for 2-3 hours straight. Even built a custom seat for room and comfort but still...
I know we're all different in our wants and needs but those trunks are already small so I can't imagine it getting taken up by another tank and related plumbing/wiring/venting. Yikes! Going out on a limb I know, but I'm gonna guess that you'll see 12-14 MPG in a steady freeway cruise. Even at 12 you're on the road or in the car for a bit over 3 hrs to dead empty. Am I missing something?

No, that pretty much sums it up. I was fearful that the flatty would **** too much juice and id regret not having installed the auxiliary tank when it was convenient. Yes on the Speed 33 body. PM me a pic or two of the one you are building if you don't mind.
