You would think that EVERY rodder and restorer within 1000 miles would have been there at 9:00 sharp! Did the $8K deuce roadster sell in the first 10 minutes? Thanks for sharing the fun.
Just been speaking to someone who traveled 7000 miles to be there . He said it was well worth the trip, loaded a UHaul Box truck and Covered trailer. Vern and David were incredible hosts and true gentlemen . .
I think this Saturday is the last day. 23rd is T-giving holiday weekend. My buddy Jay and I got there late due to cir***stance, and they were kind enough to let us look around even though they were done for the day. Lot's of stuff to dig through still!
Man, I could go for some of that stock A stuff. Judging by the 26/27 Roadster stuff I see, does anyone know if there's a decent deck lid there? I'd throw a decent finders fee to anyone that grabs it for me. Oh, and a 33/34 torque tube and d shaft!
Maybe in California it is just cast off junk but, I would love to have some of that clean A suspension/axles here in Iowa.
It never stopped a few Kiwis from going over and buying large and shipping it half way around the world.
I'm with you on that. Who's gonna buy 2 tons of stock flathead intake and exhaust manifolds except s****pers. They're everywhere. Bob
