Refering to Target banning the Salvation Army.

Could it be because the Salvation Army is self described as a Christian based organization......

Down here in Bellmore they kicked us out for a good i'd say 2 years. It was when I was littler than I am now, and It was my favorite thing to do on a Friday night other than go to the movies. It's mostly because of the rice/jap bikes that are there every week. They are the assholes that keep the neighbors up.

Massapequa has the right idea, you go, bring a can of food, and no rice, no bikes nothing like that is allowed, just hot rods!

    -Rick

    BTW: Fuck Target.

  8. 1 stoopid drunk underage dufus has issues and the store is at fault... they are covering there asses so that 1 stoopid drunk underage dufus who has issues shops there is covered "as a customer"

  9. Here's a crazy idea: to hell with Target.

Support a locally owned independent business.

  10. it was not a cruise it was park and chat :)
    get back on the road...
pick 5 local spots and do a circuit ....

You guys should head over to the local lowbrow Wal-Mart, you're probably ruining Target's nice upscale image with all those loud cars.

The Salvo's Are a Christian based out fit,and one that used to piss me off when they came into the pub and asked if I wanted one of their little newspapers ( Watchtower? or is that the other bunch of pests?) .That all changed when I needed to find a couple of family members who had dropped off the radar. The kindness and support shown by all members of the salvos in my time of need convinced me ( as a confirmed atheist) that this was one of the True Christian organisations that actually does as their bible instructs,no war mongering,no demanding tithes,no interpreting the old testament to justify tax evasion,no politics and a whole bunch of other shit.
So if TARGET as a corperate identity feels that the Salvos are a threat, then Fuck them, keep away from their stores.

We've never been in a Target or WalMart. We raise our own food and make our own clothes.

When I lived in NC there was a friendly Advance Auto Parts with a large lot next door to a Sonic. Anywhere from 25 to 50 cars showed up every Friday night. It was oldsters and youngsters - a feal family thing. My grandson would play with other kids on Sonic's outdoor gym while I schmoozed with fellow gearheads. Sonic would send a waitress thru the Advance parking lot to see if we wanted anything. Everyone seemed happy.

I think one of the secrets is to pick a place that is shut-down or not open at night..in N.Austin the Home-Depot ran everybody off for the obvious reasons of loud music and burn-outs, mainly because they and the What-a-Burger were still open with retail traffic..In S.Austin we are at an Albertsons that is closed with no traffic and no one bothers us....

I used to own a department store, whose name shall remain unmentioned. . .a bunch of them rowdy gearheads came through a cruisin one night and brought with them a tassle of loose-women and cheap booze, along with them noisy old jalopies. They commenced to swearin, fornicatin, and a burning rubber all about. It cost me my job, 73 dollars in profits, and a one-armed door greeter. . . . .I'm gonna have to side with Target one this on fellas. . . .sorry.

that, and religion doesnt belong in retail, is their claim. you won't see any "christmas" fund raisers there. I'm far from religious, but what does it hurt? They also do nothing and will have nothing to do with, charity, from what I hear.

When I PMed THX_138 to wait for pics, heres what I got back from him.

Are you sure? All the time you spend on here bitching about being able to hang around a "Target" parking lot??? Nice Life!

Oh...by the way....don't PM me ...I could really care less about any of it. I just think it's damn funny that you brag about "supposed" stickers that "everyone" is now riding around with in thier rods banning Target......and now you couldn't produce proof.

Obviously if you post them now...everyone will know or at least think that you just made them to help yourself not look stupid after saying what you said...TOO long in between, life or not.

Oh yeah....did I mention not to PM me because I couldn't really care.:D

drive fast & swerve safe ...THX_138

I figured no one cared. I was probably correct. Keep waiting.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
