Technical Target wheels

I stumbled upon this wheel center cap the other day. I tried to research Target wheels, but could not find anything anywhere. Who here has heard of, seen, or owned a set?

Never heard of it. Would totally run a set of those caps if I could find 4 of them, though.

 

Oh hell I thought maybe Target was going to start selling car stuff like K Mart and Sears did years ago. Damn

Could pull a mold off it, and make some more.

There were a lot of outfits jumping into the custom wheel business in the 60's and some didn't last long. Some wheel makers were making basically the same wheel for a number of outlets and just changing caps For the different vendors and maybe changing the spoke color a bit.

 

Totally sure. It was bolted to an old keystone mag.

 

Way back when before Target began selling groceries and tampons they were a wheel manufacturer. Business was not good though once word got out that kids with 3006 rifles were shooting at the wheels because they said TARGET. Well they declared bankruptcy, re organized and started selling tampons and groceries.
