I am a tattooer and I have to agree, it's WAY off topic. It's interesting to see a little something different thrown in the mix, but it is a traditional hot rod board. On the other hand, 95% of all the topics posted are car-related...I don't see much harm in an o/t post creeping in. Besides, there are quite a few posters on the HAMB that are tattooers/artists, and it seems that tattooing has infused itself into the hot rod lifestyle, moreso in the past decade. Here are a couple I have done...

Look, I didn't mean to stir the shit but it seems someone is getting his panties in a bunch. The board says general discussion, so I thought I would start a thread that may be different from the others, but yet it's still related. I am meeting more and more hot rod guys and gals that have a ton of ink work done, so I see them going hand in hand. If you don't like it, click on a different thread. And if Ryan sees fit to delete it, then that is his and the other mods choice to make.

Anyone in the Bay Area (NorCal) wants some ink, I'll be glad to provide a substantial HAMB discount.

Ryan is all knowing and all seeing. I don't think he needs any "help". He'll let us know if we're out of line.
Ok, here's mine. Seems pretty lame in comparison.

Sometimes you have to step up to the plate. I felt it was that time to do so. By the way, I hate cops. FYI. KNUX

Step back already. I guess you hate cops to boost your street cred. Your coming off pretty bad here, maybe time to go back to lurking...

Yup, good ol' Uncle Mao...he used to rebuild flatties on the side; he even made his own OHV coversion kits! He did have some faults though! Hahaha!!!

Wow! great stuff! One thing about living in the Bay Area... lots of great tattoo artists out here.

I have a photo of one so far, done by David at Blue Star Tattoos:

I have a Phoenix tattooed across my lower back (my design) that was done by Natasha at Final Sin (she refined the design a bit and then did a wonderful job on it!), just no decent photo of it yet. Kinda hard to do it myself. [IMG] Here's the art for it:

3 sessions... roughly 2 hours each. The wing tips are on the hip bones and the tail feathers are just at the sacrum. Owie! I'd do it all over again. [IMG]
