Whats wrong with this picture? The battery of course!!!

Take the battery out, remove the caps. Clean it with some thinner,, to remove greese and oil.

Get some spraycan primer, and put on two three coats.

Then follow up with some flat black, two and three coats again.

Looking much better oe what, so get out under the hood and fix you ugly modern battery.

And now for some shiny stuff.

Whats wrong with this picture then??

The stainless firewall trim is missing, this is very common.

So i made this hammer form of some scrap steel.

Then i took some surplus door trim., and hammered away.

I had to do some training pieces.

After some grinding and poloshing its looking much better now or what.

I Cut out the ends of the Ventilation gap. And made a new fresh piece.

Tacked it in place, and the welded it completely. Keeping it straight with a hammer and dolly.

One side ready, just have to do the other, by the way did it similar with the straights.

I did not have to do the vent door though [IMG]
So i guess i cheated [IMG]
