Here's a quick tip for getting those primary tubes equal: Fill'em up with ping-pong balls, then count.

Smart! have you ever used those TAC fleible heat tubes to eyeball in a set?
Big issue I see is they are easy to bend, hard to keep in typical radius and straight....

What a great idea. If any of them stick (think dented tubes) they are soft enough to push through with a flexible rod.

    Thanks for the great tip!

  7. Leave them in there and blow them out when you start it. Fun!

  8. Be my luck they'd get stuck at the first Collector( thing tri-y):D

This idea certainly beats the bent coathanger method I've been using for years.

  9. Hmmm... leave'em in and start the engine without connecting the rest of the exhaust system...:D

Ping pong balls are made of nitrocellulose, which is essentially guncotton. If one got stuck I suspect the problem would take care of itself.
