    Before.

first thing first. make sure your door and hood gaps are lined up. then i measured from the center of the hood to the center of the fender underneath the headlight. i took those measurment and marked them on the 1/2 conduit that i used for the surrounding grill lip. i filled it with sand so i can bend the pipe without it kinking.

next 2 pics are removing metal in order to make the new grill flow.

the next 2 pics are of hand forming 18 gauge sheet metal to fit the new grill surrond.

i put them behind the grill in the air ducts. they are hidden until you turn on the signal or park lights.

He forgot to mention the all the time it probably took to grind it all down before prepping/priming. It's tedious, but you see the results speak for themselves. Very nice work! Thumbs up, That's A+ tech there.

thanks guys...it took almost a full day of welding and a full day of grinding. you can only breathe so much welding fumes and grinding dust. even with a good respirator. a couple more days to get it preped and primered. i would say i have about 40hrs in to it.

    Awesome!

Just round the hood corners to make the front end a "complete package"!

BTW what the hell did that grill bar come out of? I can't place it....

the customer wasn't ready for the hood to get done. he just had enough for the grill. he did say he was coming back to get them done. when he does i'll post a tech on that as well.

the grill bar is off a 41-42 Olds.
