Do you need to account for any shrinkage when beadrolling?

    i/e if I took a 12in x 12in piece of 18ga and rolled a bead in it, would it still be 12 x12?

    Awesome work!

  7. garysgun.......I didn't build this ch***is. It was built by Dale Gerry and was a very nice ch***is. He has a web sit at www.dalegerry.com. It is set up to take any width rearend and any size rear tire. If I was building one with small rear wheels like the one above I would have mounted the rear coil overs as far apart as possible. This ch***is does have a good anti roll bar though. That ch***is has the most beautiful craftsmanship!

Scootermcrad........I don't have a pic of the ch***is but check out that website above.

3mike6.....there is no shrinkage with bead rolling.

Nice job, I had an H/G 300 Ford 6 powered 51 Anglia back in 1971. The guy will be wishing he had you put a roll bar in it the first time he hangs a leg in it with small block Chevy power. They are a touch on the squirrely side with the short wheelbase
