    awesome tech. If you could post more details on how you ran the wiring and what it does; ie, volue switch wiring and what type of connector did you use on the side of the radio?

  9. Great idea! Not that it matters, but I'll bet that radio is a hell of a lot lighter without all the old internals.

    haha, i did that same thing about 2 years ago on my Buick to hide the airbag switches. i also added an "on / off" for the air compressor and changed the name on the radio plate...

    dont mean to steal your thread hope you dont mind the pics:

    Nice idea! I just took apart my Olds radio a few weeks ago and was thinking about using the ****ons to run something or other.
