I love the way you braced the roof on the first page. Lots of good work. I guess the Twinkies are still fresh?

  5. Your latest post grabbed my attention, so instead of working on my sedan I went back and read the entire thread!
    Holey Moley, you're a genius!
You had a insane vision, put your amazing skills to work, and came up with this killer shoebox.
Coupled with the witty writing style made it even more enjoyable.
Thanks for the update. Add me to the list of mere mortals watching for updates.

I just bought a 1951 Shoebox and was looking for information and I got to your thread. I really like your work you are an artist and a craftsman. Is incredible the amount of excellent work you have done on this car. I hope i can see the finished product sometime. Good luck on your build.

For years I have lamented about needing a different rear window to fit chopping a shoebox; but in your case no! Damn thats good! Twinkies help?

  11. Hey, thread from the dead again haha.

Thanks for all the kind words everybody. Unfortunately, won’t be posting anymore updates for this one. Sold the car. I asked the guy that bought it to send me some update pics but never heard from him after he picked it up.

Maybe I should give him a call and see if he’s done anything with it. I am curious. Sure would love to see it done.

If he's going to keep it HAMB-friendly, maybe he could either continue to post on this thread, or start a new thread and provide a link here.
