Hey Kustombuilder your fridge is cooler that half the cars I have. A piece of work any HAMBer would be glad to grab a beer from.

Don't let any gold chainers see this or we will be forced to endure the high drama of the Boydster Aluma Fridge.

I volunteer to be on the testing team for break in.

This is kinda a goofy *** question, but what's the thermal effeciency like on one of those? Does it even compare to a modern fridge?

    Thanks,
    Ed

That's awesome, you've inspired me to do some more flames on my '54 Chevy. You rule, very nice work indeed.

i would imagine it ****S ***!! my buddies had an old 70s fridge in their shop and they said it cost $50 a month JUST to run the fridge.

it won't be all screwed back together for some time. the inner door is made of moulded plastic and is quite brittle and cracking. i will fix it up with some bondo and then make a new part from fibergl*** using the old part as a mold. then i will paint all the inner pieces a satin silver metallic and have a few stripes applied. then it will go all back together.

just tonight i wet sanded and buffed and polished the door. took close to 3 hours. ofcourse i'm an amature and was being REAL careful. you should see how shiny it is now :D . i still have to buff out the rest of the fridge body but i hope to have that done thursday.

  10. You are NUTS!!!

I love it. Make sure you post pics of it once it's back together again. I'd love to see it.

So after you get the inside all done, its looking like you need to mount an axle and a tongue to it and take a North American tour with it..... Sandwich, Il.. jot that down. :D Killer fridge on wheels
