    they make em that bright and ugly to remind the dolts who drive those things to get the puncture repaired..I used to work at a porsche dealership and cars would come in that had almost worn the tread off the spacesaver spare..*****s.

    O/T- I once saw a brand new Mercedes Benz doing 85+ mph up Rt. 287 in NJ on two temp. spare on the front.

    I think they are aluminum,the bolt pattern is oddball,
    and they ARE expensive.
