Kustombuilder did the "filling holes for virgins" tech post that may not be very complicated but it does anwer the question that seems to come up 90% of the time from new guys.

I thought the whitewall post was very good for a number of reasons: 1) it could apply to both hot rods and customs 2) it is within the reach of literally everyone independent of their skills / experience / availability of tools 3) tires are available very cheap at the wrecking yard I am very glad kustomizer posted it, I have tried it and plan to try and use ground ww tires on my '49
