Tech question, Do you have to change from drum to disc when

install drop spendles on a 53 cheverolet?

 

i think,but i don't know for sure,that dropped spindles means just that,they drop the spindles only.i think the spindles themselves need to be turned down in a lathe to match up with the bearings for discs,which are tapered rollers as opposed to ball bearing. www.speedwaymotors.com can modify chevy spindles for discs if you want.

 

depends on whether you use disc spindles or not.
