I have a ford 302 that is a roller motor. The motor has tfs highport heads on it. I am switching to a solid lift cam. And my question is how do you check for proper pushrod length. I know you need a pushrod length checker, but how do you tell which size to order? And how do you actually check for length? If anybody is around York, Pa and wants to help you are more and welcome to come over. As this motor stuff is kind of new to me. I can install heads and so forth but never did this.

First off, you will need the rocker arms that you will be using. As far as measuring, you need a mic to check what size you need. Do you have a pushrod length checker?
