Tech Request: '40 Ford: I need a measurement

I need the width measurement of the front spring perches on the front end. the part that the spring and shackles attach to.

I measured the distance between my '40 Ford front spring perches. It looks like 42". Steve

 

And that's where it attches to the front bones?
You know, a bone-to-bone maesurement?

Raven...I double checked...It is 42-421/4" mount to mount where the spring shackles attach to the mounts coming off the axle.
