Max sells an adaptor allowing air pressure to be run through accel pumps discharges.
If they are actually plugged though, removing the plugs to rod out not only the little tubes but the pit beneath would be a good idea.
The tubes were not considered a service item by Stromberg, but since your local Stromberg agent no longer supplies new bowl castings for $2 you might have to attack. The larger part at front is a tapered wedging device, once you weasel that out everything else is just improv on a bad job! The Army Stromberg manual actual gives a bit of coverage to replacing those tubes on an AA type big two-barrel, which uses about the same setup there.
Slide hammer for the emulsion tubes can be improvised exactly the same way as the puller described above...just substitute a length of #6 allthread, some extra nuts and washers, and a socket or something as the hammer.

Historical correction: The pump tubes were indeed sold as service items by Stromberg, and this is now true again via Uncle Max and the new Stromberg people.

The accel pump tubes are held by the little collar at bowl end, which is a sort of wedge.
Ain't no easy way, especially if truly plugged.
Uncle max sells a special tool to blow them out with air...it installs in the hole for power valve. Usually soakings in multiple types of solvent...but there just isn't an easy in and out. They are available again as new parts, at least.

can't you just run a fine wire through thru the tubes to clean them?

Yip, use a gun bore brush with some solvent on it.
Damn, you guys type to fast for me so I will have to clearify my post. I was speaking of the emulsion tube bore. And Max's P/V mount blow tube is the greatest for cleaning the pump discharge tubes, just sqirt a little solvent, I use lighter fluid in the hole and apply the compressed air. You will know you have them clean when you can feel a strong concentrated air stream coming out the bottom of each venturi tube. And your right about Max, he's "kool beans".

I was pretty lucky that my grandfather left me the kit with the mini slide hammer and the tapered threaded rod and my tubes came out real easy.

Here's a couple of questions for you guys:

    1. If you tap threads into the emulsion tubes, do the threads interfere with the flow properties of the tubes?

    2. Do you open the plugged passages to clean them out? I read about a guy that opens them up for cleaning and then re-plugs them with size .177 caliber air rifle pellets.

Can you remove the emulsion tubes in a Stromberg WW carb (55 buick nailhead) the same way?
