tech tip rust removal article

anyone see the tech tip for derusting and freeing up old blocks in this months Hemmings classic car.blackstrap molasses mixed with 3 parts hot water.anybody ever tried this. i guess i'll have to hit the agway and pick up some and try it out.

 

Rocky has been singing the praises of molasses for rust removal for a couple of years. He has had good results with it, but don't know if he is 'COOKING' anything at present. Maybe he'll bring us up to date.

I also want to try Evaporust, but havent had the chance yet.
