Technical TECH WEEK : Adjust your valves without the oily mess!

By the photos and discussion .... only Chevrolets make a mess.

 

My old Motors manual('62) explains how to use a vacuum gauge while adjusting your valves. It works pretty good.

 

I have one from 1950 and the Tune-Up section is only about 8 pages but really thorough. They didn't waste any words back then too much.

What's it say, or can you scan it?

 

Need is the mother of all inventions.

Cool !!! My father made one similar for his six cylinder back in the late '70's. I have thought of doing the same but have never got around to it.
