True to the vintage race style - it is field dressable... Each post has three ****on head allens and the front & back center posts have one each... The base would remain in position while racing... Works pretty good since we had practice in the construction.. The gl*** is snug and it takes a little time to re***emble but is pretty straightforward

  2. I didn't consider dis-***embling it, Doh! I think this may be the winner.

  3. Very nice tech. Love the final result.

Excellent ! Concept to completion . I really like the wind tunnel test. What a great way to check it before you go for the look instead of function. Best combo of both. ( Is that a mashmellow?)

By the way the windshield and the whole car in fact are top shelf. I am especially pleased to see a Y block in there.
Very original concept and well executed.

Old Tackspitter spends to much of his time sniffing that contact cement he uses, seems to effect his ability to communicate the written word.

Richard has the same exact thoughts on this that I do. We see way too many V windshields with a car that we don't really notice under them with the point of the V clear up at the front of the cowl.

On your car the windshield flows in and is a contributing component to the total look of the car rather than having the appearance of dominating the car.

Something similar may find it's way onto my boattail project.

Very nice job. In boatbuilding we use cardboard templates and use a comp*** (the drawing type, not the navigational ones) to draw the exact curve. Sometimes it takes two tries, so just use a larger piece of cardboard.

The smoke test cemented my vote. And gave me an excuse for the 4:20pm break.

"Yeah, honey, well, I'm seeing if the windshield's high enough."
