I was waiting for the last minute rush of votes.

 

Need one to go to the bottom or reverse it as yours comes from the bottom ! This way it ****s it back in and if there is to much it will blow it out ! If that makes sense !!!

What is the cap from?

 

A swap meet, that's all I can say, it will have a small pressure cap bonded inside it. JW

 

If you want instant age effect, pick up some Liver of Sulfur from a crafts store. Comes in liquid or pellet form. Dissolve or add small amount in warm water.It will turn yellow.Part will have to have a textured or light scotchbrite finish for best results. Submerge part all the way.Deeper finish-more time in solution. It will darken up fast. Rinse in warm water and wipe dry with clean cloth or blow off with air. Make sure you wear a pair of latex gloves or your fingerprints will show up.
Learned this at a side job I had and still use it for artwork and such. If you buy the jar of pellets, make sure to seal the lid good because air will effect its lifespan alot.
You can then lightly sand or scuff to a desired "patina" Works on br***,bronze and copper
