...was really cool. I just wanted to take a second to say "THANKS!" to those that took the time to post some tech stuff. I learned quite a bit AND got some inspiration as well! Just like I always say..."if you're not careful, you just might learn something". Maybe I'll find a way to contribute to the next Tech Week.

Takes a while to put an article together and you can save it and do whatever additions or editing it requires. Regardless of what you're doing or even if you think it's too simple for techweek, keep in mind that there are a lot of differing levels of expertise here on the HAMB so no matter what you do, it will hit the nail on the head for somebody. I enjoyed tech week as well. Thanks Ryan.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah...I could do a tech article on how to convince your smart friends to help you build a hot-rod-pos for less than $2000. I can see it now.... step 1) buy cheap-crappy-formerly 4 door-tub. step 2) Promise paint trade to good friend, for inline 6 and saginaw step 3) promise more trades for '40 Ford front end and wheels step 4) Buy 2x3 frame material step 5) stumble onto a handful of rebuilt parts donated to you by local mechanical genius. step 6) Convince friends, with hot rod building knowledge, that it'll be fun to help build another car. step 7) Keep re-assuring wife that it will, eventually, look and run like a real car. Final steps to be added later, since the car is still not quite finished.... Actually, I'm sure, by the time I get this jalopy runnin' I'll have some useful pieces of info to pass on to some other un-informed builder.
