This is my lame as attempt to get someone to do work I am too lazy to do really... BUT, if you know of posts that need to be in the techomatic, put a link to them here.

I think I've missed a bunch from tech weeks of past.....

I do feel its important that we stay on top of this because I have heard of some guys being kinda discouraged after spending so much time and effort on their tech post and not getting them into the hambtech. I have a suggestion that may save you time Ryan. How about changing the Techomatic to allow anyone to put in an attachment. Then you can go through and see if they are indeed worthy. tech 1 tech 2 tech 3
Many more but I didn't get these saved. Come on guys..don't be shy and help!

    All of these are added...

It's actually all my fault. I get too bogged down answering emails to keep up with it... I'll try to do better.

There have been MANY gems of esoteric knowledge on this board that have p***ed on into oblivion and that will likely never be answered so well again--dissertations on LaSalle transmissions, several routes to Buick drums, pickup and lincoln brakes, detailed information on a large variety of early engines, sheet metal working skills--
Some of these postings were short and sweet, easily transferable to tech, and some were drawn out clusters of discussion spaced out over a month and containing many irrelevant or repi***ious replies mixed in with the good stuff.
How about appointing some ***istant editors in areas of expertise to gather the best in a specific area--early brakes, sheet metal forming, etc., and build tech compilations selected from the many posts?
As an example, the Lincoln brake issues have been richly covered on here, but the posts are now ****terd and gone. An edited compilation, one that could be selectively added to, would be immensely useful. I wish I could post some of the material I have saved on here, but I'm a primitive sort and saved them all in a "Paper" format on my floor drive.

I should be able to help with the Techomatic stuff now so it shouldn't get behind. I'll go dig out a couple more that should be there.

Bruce - You might get a few emails from me if I need help editing something.
