Teenage girls waved and blew kisses at me this morning.

Really they did. I was driving the rusty and none too spectacular '60 Brookwood to work when I espied an SUV full of teenaged soccer player looking gals waving and blowing kisses at me in the next lane over.

I was really flattered, especially because I hadn't shaved and I'm pretty much a bum anyway.


I'm pretty sure they couldn't have picked up on my manliness from way over there, but maybe they did.

 

They weren't REAL teenage girls. THey were hookers returning from 3rd shift....

 

It was the car next to you that they were waving at, that's what happens to me all the time

 

was that the same group of swingers and soccer moms that were on FOX news last night?

 

Sometimes teenage girls smile at me...

...because they are too polite to laugh. Ususally they skip the formalities and just laugh.

One thing I've noticed about women, they accept our cars for what they are, the way they are.

Happened to me once too. Bunch of teenage girls waving at me while I was driving. I got home and realized I left my running shoes on my roof when I got in the car. Of course they were gone when I got home -my shoes that is-total buzz kill too. rustfarmer

I did have a similar experience in my '42 GMC. That thing was a woman magnet. Of course they were all blue haired and wanted me to clean their gutters... "My husband had one of these when he left the Air Corp in'48..."
