Technical Teflon in cheap ball valves?

    I had someone tell me the other day, that the plastic teflon in cheap ball valves will wear out under high pressure sandblasting grit and won't last very long.

    I am not aware of any full port consumer ball valves that do not have teflon inserts. I heard someone mention ceramic. I have attached a picture of the inside of my stainless steel valves I will be using.
