Is there anything to do in Abilene? I will be headed there in July. I hear women there dont treat you mean... Going to visit Hirschfeld Steel by day, party by night. My compatriot is a partier, too. Thus, we will be looking for some fun.
I had to ask Rashy, you know I did. We'll stay where they have free drinks to start out right, then move on whatever watering hole looks the best.

there is a relatively new 1/8 mile dragstrip right on the interstate... might run down someone in the know there. himmelberg
There is some decent barbeque, and I have found a cold beer or two in that neighborhood, but overall it isn't exactly Fun City. Dyess AFB has a pretty cool collection of aircraft on static display out by the front gate, if you can get in...... One of the better BBQ places (had decent steaks, too) was over on ****ernutt....... Damn, I wish my memory were better. It has been there a long time, you can probably get hooked up with directions from a local....
