I wanted to attend, but being non driving, and no one to take me, well.......................?? I wanted to load my 34 on a flatbed, have my brother drive us down, unload, do the show thing showing Russ's E type Jag suspension off, under it all chromed, disk brakes and all, (honoring his usual outstanding fabrication skills). My Bro is four years younger lives close and was up for doing so but a family thingy arose and had to attend to that of course. I'm in Federal Way, just 8 miles north of Tacoma, so a day trip down to the memorial would made for a long day for sure. Maybe sone of you also have a few pictures you could also ??

Yeah BB, Thanks so much for the great job YOU did with the camera. This old man's brain kicked in during the middle of the night and "got it" , , wrong form. Came into my office this morning, fresh cup of java logged in, found Taboo's post, saw all your shots, cussed a blue streak for not having my 34 on site posted to Taboos post, way down the list and its four hrs. later and I'm still kicking my ***. Looks like a rally great time for all of us of our persuasion.
Larry. it was awesome. Russ' celebration of life was exactly that, a celebration for a life well lived. Seeing the Idol and his AMBR car only made it better. His salt flat racer was there too. A special man. He will be missed.
