What??? This thread is still open???
    Cool!
I guess the mods are finally gonna let us have a little fun for a change.

It is kind of a drag when we all get a good laugh and have some harmless fun, and a mod shuts us down.

Here's to the HAMB moderators [IMG]
Thanks for FINALLY letting us vent a little steam and have some fun!!!

I would buy the alliance thing, but I simply am broke.I can't even afford to have my brakes fixed so I can run my chevy around. I'm stuck in the Subaru, and that makes me mad. Thats what happens when you are self employed and things take a downturn. There is a whole thread about it around here.
so how long could this thing keep up?

    oh and i'm officially a newbie. $!NO MORE FNG 4 ME!$

.....well until they close this thread

still going? well when can I declare final post

My 12-15 page response prediction is coming true. I should change my name to Nadstradamus.

I would, but there is something funny going on with them. They pull hard to the right, though I have good pressure, new parts, and all that. It is simply beyond me at this point. I don't know enough about hydrolic systems to figure it out.

    ..and...

I've been looking for a freedumb

  14. Replace your LEFT brake hose. Likely, it's swelled shut on the inside.

wtf do I know though---I'm no mechanic.....but ya gotta start somewhere

That would be a good start, but there are so many hard lines up to there that could have crystallized somewhere. I thank you for your help, brake lines are cheap enough, i'll throw a few at it and see what happens.

Well if ANYTHING good comes from this post perhaps it's the fact that "arpedersen" might get his brake issues worked out thanks to Earl Schieb.:D

  17. Read me again---I said hose, not hard line. Rubber hoses sometimes swell up after years of use.

Hopefully, this helps.....and saved this thread from being totally useless ;)

(Thanks Denise :) That's what I was thinkin') That, and this proves I'm a drama ***** for returning to this thread over and over....hahaha!

Earl is right, almost guaranteed it's your hoses.
You can change your steel lines too, it's easy, the stuff comes in many lengths, you can use unions to make them longer, you don't need a flaring tool.

You could always quit working on your post count in this thread and spend some time reading about hydraulic systems and spelling.

And what do gay horses eat.....?

    Haaaaaaaaay!

  25. Ignore these ****s shadesofrust... rat rods and that entire Jimmy Shine look are soooooooo last decade... the hot new up and coming trend is called survivorpaint. Write this all down and remember you read in on the HAMB first. If your ride doesn't have it's original paint... it'll be virtually worthless. I plan on picking up quite a few nice cars in the next few years. I just got a line on a freshly painted hemi-duece for $1200... so the revolution has officially begun.

This kinda bothers me, I'm new to this board but hardly new to cars and all things gas powered and have scars on my knuckles to prove it.So this thread blows up into a joke and people pile on etc etc... Then the spelling cops jump in and then someone piles on " newbies " because they have been a member for a very long time. Now i know bashing and flame war's is not what this board is about but after reading many-a-thread there is a fair amount of innocent ball busting that goes on. I'm not one to break balls for the sake of breaking balls and don't chime in on topics i am not up to speed on other then telling a fellow member they have a nice rig or to give friendly advice. It chaps me when a thread that has had the wheels fall off [ which does not happen here very often] to have a member whom has been around take some sort of ownership and " putting down " newbies because they are " newbies" then saying they can no longer post on a thread. That at***ude to me is snobish and if history is correct it was back when when rebel young kids started hacking up cars and doing things " different" If not for that spirit and " at***ude " this fine board would not have a home for people like the members whom have been around and some of the " newbies " whether new to hot rod scene or not.
Treat newbies on the content of what they post not when they signed up.
And yes i posted a joke pic on this thread just like a few others as this thread went off topic page one.

    There rant over .
    Have a nice day.
    Hank.

You weren't around back in the days of Germ then. This guy would have been crispy after that first post in this thread! What was that line? "SLITTING my THROAT with the DULL BLADE of..." ?

Welcome to the kinder, gentler HAMB...

    And 4t64rd, I ignored you. :p
