either i drank too much coffee, or im too excited to type,,,,,mocked up a bubble skirt,,,fabbed up from a shoebox roof panel,,,keep in mind i left a little extra along the edges so i can fold it over (about 1/2" inch all around, so the skirt will actually appear a little slimmer when finished,,,,,i think i HAVE to do this,,,,,,,,

i'm also leaning heavily towards "concaving" the cove area...

Good god, please don't put skirts on that car!

 

Do it both ways. When you want it to look long, slim and attractive -- no skirts.When you want it to look short, chubby and unattractive -- use the skirts. It's that easy.

What he said! Looks like a factory concept or coachbuilt car until you put the skirts on. Skirts make it look heavy.
