those are ultra rare 1957 amc matador hubcaps..saving the '48 mustang caps for a future project,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  2. Jim, Check out a 58 Impala rear gl***, looks like it might be wide enough and has a neat slope, I don't know what the chances are of finding a rust bucket, but You might be able to cut out the surrounding frame and rear cowl area as the framework, A piece of cake for You !

a friend of mine has a ****load of wraparound windshields,,,im gonna go over there with a tape measure and see what i can find,,,,,i'll most likely find something that will need to be chopped at least a few inches,,and i''ll probably end up fabbing my own frame,,,,,,,,the shape of the 58 looks good,,,but it'll be too tall,,and its tempered gl***,,,,so not able to cut it down,,,

That's ********! My other friend has the first Mustang off the line. I've seen it and it was definitely a '52 model. No hubcaps either... magnesium Cragars. :p

    Thanks!

That old gold colour would look good with maybe a red interior. Its all very "fifties concept car" at any rate. (Olds F-88)

  14. James, your vision is excellent. You put this build into a whole new perspective.

Just found this ...great stuff !!

Jim , I was thinking rear screens from late 50's Caddy , Chevy , etc. might work , have you considered sinking the gl*** into the cowl to reduce height , change angle etc. ?

I have a 'Concept Custom' in my head that needs excorsizing soon !!
