roger, i have a cool idea for that very spot,,,
im planning to slightly taper/dip the door as it nears the fin,,,
the taper will indeed flow right into a scoop of some kind,,IF
i can make it work the way i have it imagined in my head,,,,,,

    Hey,

With all the hot women in Austin these days, why not make it a skinny?

    James D,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
can you work some of your photoshop wizardry on the lowered version pic mick did for me?,,ie,,blend it all together and add a slight dip in the door right before the fin, add that little fin extension, add in a piece of chrome around the cove (which will now include the area below the hooded headlight in front of the front wheel openings), and put some sort of expanded metal (gold)..and possibly "skin" the conduit framework,,,,,i'd love to see it in a pearl white with gold expanded metal in the cove....and maybe some gold in the middle section of the wheelcovers,,,i know i'm asking for a lot, so whatever you have time to do is definitely appreciated.....i think the proportions are finally where they need to be and i'm dying to see it all tied together,,,,

It's looking really good. That's got to be the final color. Love the shape of the sidetrim.

Not to take away from all you guys have done but, a couple of suggestions. The forward extension of the fin is obvious, but I also straightened and raised the rear of the fin slightly. I sectioned the deck area another 2" or so. Also, I think it needs chrome trim at the door top.

I was trying to find one of your threads to bump back to the top and I chose this one as it seems fairly recent (out of the many MANY you have created for your creation!).

    Any updates?

    Hey,

Has Kustom777/Jim's face shown up on a milk carton yet?

Large burned circles in the gr***y medow on the outskirts of Austin?

Weird, unexplained lights in the skys in and around his shop?

He escaped from his captors and got to a computer?

I hope the move to Tay-haus wasn't his undoing......................

I sent him a message the other day asking about any updates on this and he said he's just been super busy and that be getting back to it soon. I'm guessing he returned it back to stock. :D
