  3. Looks like an old custom with the molded grill surround and the rounded hood corners...

    Very cool to find a shoebox ragtop...

    Wish I had never, ever sold the 51 Convertible I bought in 1971 from a kid in Andalusia Alabama for $50. Running and driving, bad top, leather trimmed seats.
    I nosed it and decked it and replaces the 51 uglies out back with 49-50 cats' eyes.

    You've got one and I'm jealous but will recover. Enjoy, these are great cars with extreme potential as subtle customs, which has been started on yours.

    Minor rust ,I sould have it fixed to day. the nose came off a car I built a long time ago, no history. I'm thinking section/chop and a olds 324

    Cool find! I had a '51 shoebox 'vert project back in '82 and I traded it for a Triumph 650 chopper. One of my stupider moves.
