well, he DID ask us to please ignore...

 

At work we used to hang a string from the ceiling with a little tag that said "Do not pull" and invariably the string was broken within an hour. That is what we just saw here.

 

I worked at a tractor/implement dealer when just out of HS.

The chief mechanic "Max" would get tired of local yokels coming in and idly picking up just about everything on the bench.

Max cured them of their curiosity....

There was this apparatus he used to check an armature that put out something like 12v (IIRC). He'd take a condenser and alternately touch the probes to the body and lead of it....charging it up.

Then he'd lay it on the bench and wait for the next yahoo to pick it up.
After a few more visitors, word got out to leave Max's stuff alone.
