Well, this fall in Texas, were headed to the beach driving backroads. There is no real event, no fees etc, just a good ole backroad time and some cool sights to see once we are down there. Headed from Liberty Tx, to Galveston Tx the back way. Meeting up and departing Liberty texas courthouse about 8am sat morning. 1923 Sam Houston St, Liberty, TX

Should be a good time. Some of us will be staying down there on the island that night, there are a ton of hotels and motels to get into. I found the TRU by Hilton to be a decent find and centrally located. Another affordable option is the Inn at the waterpark, Beach Camping, or the Crystal Palace. For those who are staying down there, we will try to find a place to hang out and enjoy the Gulf with views etc.
Some folks are getting beach houses and splitting it up with friends. Family friendly event, and people can do things on the island on their own time if they would like as well. I know many years ago someone had a Hamb Reliability run to Galveston, I never got to go on that one, but figured this would be a pretty good try at something like that.

Few places we will probably run by is the Train Museum, Fallstaff Brewery, The Strand, Seawall Blvd, Seawolf Park, East end for some cool photos, and Crystal beach for some sand photos.

We will hit the San Jacinto Monument Sunday on the way back and more backroads back close to the start.

I "spring breaked" it on Padre Island one year. Miami got nothing on the Lone Star State. Somebody's gotta take a shitload of pictures and send 'em back to the boys here. I hope it looks like a chicken that caught in a tractor's nuts.
