The coupe is going to Mokan, almost for sure. The rear for the '55 won't even be shipped for a month. Just ordered it yesterday. So, barring several miracles, I'll be racing the coupe at Mokan.

And thiinking about all of the 12.5-13 second cars that are going to be at the DOTD, I may run it one last time there.

Not sure, because I'm really looking forward to running that little green '55 as well. We'll just see when the Field Car gets done and decide at that point. Lux is gonna get some seat time, so maybe he'll drive it first.

That'd get real expensive driving up and down Mopac with my 4.11's!

La Snowblind Bevin! I love it.

What did you run last time? Did you have the 6 in it then?

    Oh geez, last time? Twenty..mumblemumble:(
Yeah, I had the 6, but those days are behind me like so many late model cars that now try and pass me!:D
I just had the dual m/c put in and it stops NICE; now I won't feel so jumpy at the end of that track!

hopefully within 2 weeks my motor will be finished, ive had to sell alot of cool parts and spend about 4k so i can be faster. but for some reason it will never be fast enough. last year i ran in the g/cs class and i was a little slower than all the other cars. hopefully this year it will be the other way around. mid 12's-11.90's or im building another engine for next year!!

As always, I'll be in a damn diesel dually because I don't have enough time or money to finish anything of my own. I dunno, maybe the '30 will be roughed in enough to take it out the to track by then, but I have too many other cars to build to focus on my truck alone. We'll see.

I just hope my little stock caddy motor will impress me. I finally got me a 327 crank for my chevy motor. I wouldnt miss the drags even if my 32 wont get me in the 100 mph club .

The Caddy is in the coupe, right? That should be a blast, regardless of what times it puts up. What's the 327 going in?

What's Rusty bringin' this year? He and Flat Top Bob are the closest that I know of that haven't reached 100 yet. If I remember, he was 99.5+ last year. Bob was 99+ the last year he ran. I did it one year. Had to leave the track with a top speed of 99.87. Sucked for a whole year.

and now here we are hunting 11's.
funny how time flies.....I still think the "axle breaker" pass would have been the fastest yet. That little booger is turned up to 11.

Turned up to 11? I respectfully don't think so. Turned up to 12.5, maybe. The car's got some left, but I don't see 11's in it's future without a lot of work.

Work and $$$ that is going into the '55!

Gotcha, I just saw "we are hunting 11's". Which is kinda weird. We're hunting mid 12's with one car, and 10's with the other. Screw those 11's!

Okay, I'm on my way over to swiss cheese the car.

    when running 12's, you're always hunting 11's.
if you're running 13's, you're hunting 12's...I'm not sure this coffee is caffinated. Am I making sense?

The caddy is in the coupe. The 327 may go in the coupe when I get tired of the caddy. Or it may go in the anglia.
