Just got off the phone with Kirk.....he said there have been a hundred calls to him about this event.....looks like it ought to be a great event!
We just got back home and had a great time . Was hotter than hell with almost no breeze, the car ran a whole second slower than it did last month, and we forgot to check the camera for the memory card before we left ( so no pictures ). But we will be back next year.
We did not get any pic's either just to busy racing and tuning. We had a great time and set a new personal best for my FED 5.51@127. Track prep was good and the new track operator "Kirk" is a real stand up dude. Looking forward to the next nostalgia race out there. Tony
Had a blast, set a new best for the old stude too at 7.50/89. Race was well run, big thank you to the new track guy. I didn't get any shots either as I was having too much fun drag racing! Hopefully someone got some photos they will post for us.
I just wish more of the streetcars would have run. I don't know about Sunday but Saturday there was only 2 cars in the street coupe/sedan cl*** and I think there where a few cl***es with no cars. Why drive to a nostalgia race if your not gonna race?
I havent seen any pictures posted but i found this on you tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuS_2J3-UQ0 It starts out as a slide show but turns to video.
