    hate to sound like your mom or the safety police but you sit behind a blown big block with an open face helmet and no nomex? ever been to a burn unit hospital before?

    I had nomex on and safety glasses. Full one piece suet and a jacket with nomex under keeps me warm. Thanks for your concern and your hospital comment

    Tony here from the mile. I had to go with steel shim head gasket on my bbc. I am running 210psi of cranking pressure 12-1 static compression. The shim gaskets are .020 thick so they will raise your static compression a little. I have run my motor up to 8000rpm and these gaskets have held strong for me when the felpro's like yours failed. Hope this helps.

    Wow what a offer Thank you so much. I should be getting my motor together soon waiting on gaskets now. Have two people coming by to look the motor over see if I missed something.:)

    Man, Sorry about the motor at least wasn't too serious. Good luck in October, wherein I am guessing you will do 162.7, by the way the my guess was 151.2. What's my prize for calculating the closest time?

    Next time you go i may just load up and go watch ya.... I only got a glimpse at see you run at the Thaw cause for some damn reason i was busy.... Congrats on 151...and here's to 200 in October.
