So I take the rear leaf springs from the '55 Plymouth into Texas Springs in Amarillo, Texas to have'em de-arced 3"

I throw 'em up on the bench and the old guy says " Mopar, early or mid 50's"

Damn, so far so good! [IMG]

We look'em over real close and he finds a cracked spring. I verifed the crack. Good eye old man.

He is gonna fix me up with a new set of springs in about a week.

Just wanted to say it's nice to find a blacksmith who knows what he's talking about.

Looking forward to a lower ride! [IMG]
