Torques, Texas Thawers, HAMBers, and others,

There are some more great pics of our event last weekend on the web at: www.maxcacklephotos.com . These are by Chris Graves, who is a fuel car guy and the Great Official Documenter for those wild and wooly Outlaw Fuel Altered Association cars that ran with the Southwest Junior Fuel cars and all the rest of us under the banner of the Texas Timing Association there at the Texas Thaw at Northstar Raceway.

That was good drag racing, people. Let's do it some more!

I had a great time! Thanks to the Torques for putting it on or there wouldn't be such a cool event in North Texas.

That being said, I don't want to sound like I am complaining toward the organizers or track, but what was the deal with all those "real" hot rods that stayed parked the whole time? I'm not talking the guys who ran and broke something and didn't have much choice.

Can't wait till next year though! Hope there is more participation from the driver cars.

I thought the drags were a little slow at first but got going mid day. I wonder if the cold temp could have slowed some people down?

Make no mistake about it there are not many opportunities to make that many passes in a week much less in 3 hrs one evening and then 7 hours the next day.
You and Casey need nicknames like the punishers or something.LOL
