Technical TH350 overhaul

So I'm overhauling a TH350 non-lockup. Should I pre-soak the clutches or not? I've seen online videos both ways. What's the HAMB consensus?

I squirt them with some ATF as I put them in place. But you can pre soak them. The important thing is that they get a bunch of oil in there, not dry!

 

I soak them.

 

Either soaking them or putting ATF on them as Jim said works. I soak them.
