I have a deep cast aluminum pan on my transmission. It uses an adapter to push the filter deeper into the pan, and the pickup tube is also longer. The part I'm looking for is the stock length pickup tube (right name?). Does anyone have a part number for it or know where I can get one easilly?

Shit dude. let me go look in the garage... I am running the deep pan on mine, and I THINK the original pickup tube is sitting in the original pan. If I can find it it's yours, but you owe me a Mt Dew if you ever get up this way! [IMG]

    SWEET man, thanks a million!!

  7. For others who still don't know what you wanted, the deep cast pan is the same as the stock deep pan used on large trucks. So are the internal changes, filter intake pipe, filter spacer, filter bolt, dipstick (tube is the same, AFAIK).
So all the parts you need are stock, you need to specify truck parts (ie: '85 GMC one ton truck).

I don't think the large truck ones are finned with chunks knocked out of the front though. [IMG] Thanks for the info cosmo...you also reminded my I gotta use a stock length bolt on the filter. I should have one that'll work somewhere.

The lesson I've learned it to always keep the old parts!!!
