Hi guys & gals, I'm an entusiast from way back. Not just rods & customs, but wheels in general. If it's fun I like it. Having said that... I'm over 50. I've been building custom cars & bikes (& doing body/paint/frame repair) since I was 14. I can build a car from the ground up, except for upholstery. I mostly do custom paint & fibergl***, but I'll do repair too - hey gotta buy parts somehow. I've been through some tough times recently, with theives stealing everything I'd worked for in the past fifteen years - & having to sell my home (that my parents & I built) on property that I grew up on & the family owned for fourty years. I used the equity to buy some land & build a storage building/shop - instead of a house. I can't live without being able to work on my cars. I'm in N.E. Georgia. Thanks everyone for the welcome. Yeah I can tell this is a great bunch of folks. My cars are my life - since I don't have one. They have always been my p***ion; now they're pretty much my only p***ion since my 300 CDs were stolen. Music used to be my greatest p***ion with the machines running a close second. Five years after the CDs were stolen I'm just now starting to enjoy the tunes again - but I only have about 25 CDs & there were some that cannot be replaced.
