Took my little '28 AV8 roadster down to Lafayette and the Bayou Roundup last weekend, in hopes of being able to sell it. On Saturday morning, as I pulled into the show, Ryan Cochran happened to notice my car and persuaded Steve Wertheimer that I should be included a**** the "Feature Cars" parked inside the Coliseum. Thanks to your thoughtfulness, Ryan, I got some great vis all day, managed to pick up an award as well, and found a buyer!! I attribute all that to you, and wanted the HAMB world to know what a truly nice guy you are. Although I've already thanked you personally, I neglected to extend the offer of beer (and mebbe even dinner if you're interested) the next time we run onto each other
