What you do in the closet is your business. But when you post OT stuff on any forum that has a specific mission statement (as does the HAMB) you should EXPECT it to be removed to protect the integrity of the forum. If you let it get away from you, it becomes just another **** filled ******** board full of disjointed ****.

Online etiquette rule #345: When your thread gets deleted, your best bet is to start a new thread and cry about it.

don't take it too hard. I have felt the same way plenty of times myself. Like one time I had pictures of my wide's pinup photo shoot and every one of them was hot rod related and had a hot rod in the picture and it went on for a month or two with over 10,000 views and got deleted. I asked Mod about it and he said it was too off topic. I stayed quiet as I watched all the other pinup threads stay up for view...

Oh well I still love it on here and I don;t have plans of leaving.

I just had to look at this one.

I see what you've written, but all I'm hearing is "Wahhh!"

Damn, I feel for you...I had my thread on where to buy Mexican blankets like the real hot rodders shut down...not to mention my picture thread of all the mini-trucks that I have lowered.

Read all of my message, think about it then walk away with what you consider relevant.

First, remember that this is not your garage. Someone else built the garage and allowed us to walk through the door.
While in this garage of similar degenerates and traditional car enthusiasts, should you observe other guests ******* up a rope, consider ******* up said rope to be acceptable practice. If you choose to do otherwise, do not be offended by objection. Objection is not necessarily a failure of your personal character, as long as you recognize the objection as a lesson in social interaction. Eyes and ears open, mouth closed, though dull in Forum content, promotes learning.

I don't know why your thread was closed, but in your profile of all the many cars you own I did not see anything even near HAMB friendly.

Were you by chance talking about an engine swap involving a 1984 BMW....
